Last Month's Recap

At the monthly meeting in October, we were educated by the York County Coroner, Pam Gay.  Did you know that York County doesn't have their own morgue?  The coroner's office has to share space at York Hospital! Suppose you had a dear relative pass away and while waiting for an autopsy, your loved one had to share space with a few others who were deceased!

Gay gave a brief history of the coroner's office and growth over the years.  She also spoke about the opioid epidemic and other challenges facing her office and York County residents.  It was a very interesting presentation.  Thank you, Pam Gay, for taking your time to enlighten us!

Thursday, November 15 is our monthly meeting at Perkins Restaurant on East Market St. Members and guests will play "Uno Attack," and beginners will be taught how to enjoy this very lively game! The game will begin at 7 p.m., and if you want to order dinner, please arrive at 6:15!

Prospective members, please don't forget to RSVP by Monday, November 12 at 717.718.8683.
