AireFace: Meet Bean

Name and Age: Bean, 11 years young
Where do you live? Kent, Connecticut (I left NJ as a young lad)
How did you get your name?  My humans kept trying to think of a name but were stuck.  Barbara was making dinner and gave me a bean, I ate it, and she stopped there.  I'd rather have been named Bacon, though.
What are your nicknames?  Sheesh, so many.  BeannieWeanie, Beantown, Beanster, String, LL, Lima, Navy, Pork'n, the list goes on.  I always know who she's talking to, though, whatever she calls me, especially if it's around dinnertime.
What were you doing when they took this picture?  Pretending I was the biggest Airedale in the world.  I am a legend in my own mind.
Where/how/why did you end up in your current home?  I moved around a bit at first but when I was 2 years old, the people I lived with didn't want me anymore.  They said I was a wimp, that I barked too much when they gated me away from the part of the house they were in, that I was too clever about getting out of their flimsy fence, that I wasn't like their other Airedale.  They called NEAR to take me away.  I went to this home as a foster dog, but I figured out how to win their hearts right away and they wouldn't let me leave.
What makes you happy?  Well, just having my people around.  Going for walks, car rides, breakfast, dinner, my AireGirlFriend Tinker, face scratches, my couch, and, of course, bacon (not that I ever get any but I'll never give up trying).
What do you work hardest to avoid? Being left home when they go out without me.
Do you know any special tricks?  Nope.  I did earn my CGC, though.
What do you like most about your people?  They love me and would never give me up like those first people.
