FRANKIE COLON GAMES 2003

The 2003 Frankie Colon Games were held on July 26, 2003 at Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Tanika Liburd of Nevis (photo below) captured the Bronze medal in the Long Jump with 5.68m.

  

Tanika last participated in the 2001 Annual event and placed 2nd in 5.77m.  The meet was deemed a warmup meet by most athletes for the Pan American Games, to be held in Santo Domingo in August 5-9.

A team from St. Kitts also competed in the meet in preparation for the Pan American Games.
