Dayle Farrell demonstrated great athletic prowess from a very early age. At first his passion was cricket and such were his perceived skills and potential that he represented the St. Thomas' Primary school at age 9 in the inter-primary cricket competition.

However, Dayle's first love was really football and he excelled in this sport. He represented the St. Thomas' Primary School at age 6 and at age 12 was drafted into the Pioneers Football club in the Nevis Football Association league. Dayle has represented the following clubs- Pioneers, Mystic Movers and Bath United FC on Nevis and St. Peter's FC and Washington High School on St. Kitts. Perhaps the highlight of his football career was the opportunity to play football in Manchester, England, to watch live football at Old Trafford and to meet the Great Sir Bobby Charlton.

Dayle’s prolific skill in football earned him a place on the Nevis Football Squad at age 14. He has been a consistent member of the National squad except for the period when he was in college in the USA. He was also selected in the St. Kitts & Nevis under 17
team and the under 23 squad. Dayle has won various awards during his illustrious football career. These include youngest goal scorer, most promising youth, most valuable player in the Nevis Football Association league and top goal scorer for his present club (Bath United).

Dayle, being an all rounder, was involved in athletics performing at both the primary and secondary school levels. His main events were the 100, 200 and 400m. He tried the 800m when his house needed his effort because he would not see his house go under.
In his final year of high school, Dayle placed 2nd in the senior boys cross country. Even though he is not the tallest of athletes, Dayle excelled at high jump. He still holds the class 3 boys record for that event.

Dayle was a proud member of the Fox's house (Blue House). He was always proud to represent, his commitment was a great motivation to other athletes.

The Principal, staff and students of the Charlestown Secondary School and the Nevis Sixth Form salutes Mr. Dayle Farrell, patron for the 2012 Sports meet.
