Kashka Forbes broke the 36 year-old record for the 1,500m and the 14 year-old record for the 800m in an unprecented feat of athletics at Grove Park at the Charlestown Secondary School Sports on 10th March 2010. It was a feat that had to be observed to be believed with hundreds of cheering spectators willing him to break the long standing records held by Andy Liburd and the patron of the day, Timothy Caines, respectively. Congratulations !

26/02/10:  Virgil Hodge of St. Kitts/Nevis placed 3rd in the 60m with 7.44 (7.52s prelims) at the New York University Fastrack Invitational, in her first International meet of the year behind Veronica Campbell-Brown of Adidas in 7.14 (7.20 prelims) and Sheri Ann Brooks, running unattached in 7.19 (7.27s prelims). Virgil won the 200m Invitational in 24.30s. Tiandra Ponteen of St. Kitts/Nevis placed 2nd with 52.45s, her 2nd outing
for the year, qualifying for the World Indoor Championships in March. 
 

 
26/02/10: A photo-finish workshop was conducted by Telbert Pyke of St. Kitts for Secretariat officials for the Primary School Champs. The officials will also implement full computerisation for Maude Crosse, C'town Primary & Secondary School meets. Team & Meet Management hands-on training was also conducted in the afternoon.
