CLINICAL BRAIN PROFILING

Avi Peled all rights reserved © January 2009

Clinical Brain Profiling (CBP) is a theoretical method to translate clinical findings of patients suffering from mental disorder into their presumed brain disturbances. It is a mid-stage between the descriptive DSM-related psychiatric diagnosis and a future brain-related etiopathic psychiatric diagnosis. It is implemented in a simple excel program as a translation matrix which inputs clinical signs symptoms and clinical history, and outputs a profile of presumed brain disturbances. As such it is a testable predictor for brain imaging research, and a pointer toward revelation of the underlying neuropathology of mental disorders.

It is downloadable together with a scoring reliability explanatory manual.

For more detailed information go to 'Neuroanalysis book' or 'PubMed' publications on this topic.
