About me

Hi, I am a third year PhD student at the theoretical physics group, department of physics, University of Oxford.

I am supervised by Dr. James Sparks and Dr. Yang-Hui He. I finished my undergraduate studies at Ben-Gurion University, Be'er Sheva, Israel. There I completed a B.Sc in Biotechnology Engineering and a B.Sc in Physics. I completed a M.Sc in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics in Cambridge University.

String Theory

I have been focusing on various aspects of inter-relations between string theory and gauge theory, ranging from the formal to phenomenological. My main topic of research has been the AdS4/CFT3 correspondence in M-theory.

In addition I am interested in applications of F-theory to GUT model building and applications of the AdS/CFT correspondence to condensed matter physics.
Tissue Engineering

Since my second year of undergraduate studies I have been conducting a research in the tissue engineering research group supervised by Prof. Smadar Cohen. My work focuses on developing mathematical models for biological systems and optimizing the physical environment inside bioreactors in order to stimulate tissue growth.
