Seth Andrews

Join us for a special event hosted by the local chapter of The Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF), the Northern Ohio Freethought Society. We will be joined by secular activist Seth Andrews, proprietor of the very popular "The Thinking Atheist" podcast!

As a devout fundamentalist Christian for 30 years, Seth was formerly a spokesman for "Youth for Christ" and was a Christian radio host for a number of years. The seeds of skepticism were sown for Seth beginning in the late 1990's, as events unfolded that led him to question his worldview. Inspired in part by Christopher Hitchens, he was on the path to apostasy by 2004 but didn't come out as an atheist until 2008.

Since there was no existing community of like-minded people in his region of Oklahoma, Seth decided to start one. This led to the creation of the well-known "The Thinking Atheist" podcast/YouTube channel/online community! He has also been a featured guest speaker at various conferences, and is the author of two books: "Deconverted: A Journey From Religion To Reason" (2012), and "Sacred Cows: A Lighthearted Look at Belief and Tradition Around the World" (2015).

The price of registration includes an all-you-can-eat buffet that is sure to please omnivores, vegetarians and vegans alike! Some soft drinks are included as well (alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the bar outside the main party room).

The event will also include a raffle featuring some great prizes!

The cost of registration is $25 per adult, $15 for age 12 and under. 2 free raffle tickets are included with each registration!

Register here (payment information is included in the link):

Note: A limited number of walk-up registrations MIGHT be accepted at the door, provided the event doesn't sell out ahead of time. Preregistering is strongly recommended!

See you there! :)

We are dedicated to preserving the constitutional principle of separation of church and state and educating the public on matters relating to nontheism.

"An Atheist believes that a hospital should be built instead of a church. An atheist believes that deed must be done instead of prayer said. An atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanished, war eliminated."
