Spring is officially here!  The first outdoor freecycle of the year is Friday the 8th of May at 5:30.  The event will be at the RV park unless there's rain.  With rain, it may be at the tribal hall.  Miss Jeannie is waiting to hear if the hall is available.

He is risen!

He is risen indeed!

Easter Sunday had us in Romans 3 for a special sermon.  Next week, April 12, we resume the study in the Psalms with Psalm 50.  Also, please note evening service starts up again on the 12th.

April 6-11, Pastor Bill will be in an EMT 2 class.  It may be hard to make contact that week.  If you call, please leave a message and he will get back to you as soon as he can.

February is at an end...

The shortest month has flown by.  We finished the last Sunday with Psalm 49.  March will have us returning to James 2.

Please remember that Adam and Bill will be gone from 3/2 to 3/10 for the Shepherd's Conference.  Art will be by himself for Sunday the 8th.  Please lend him a ready hand in setting up and cleaning up for the service.

Last Week of January

posted Jan 26, 2015, 12:13 PM by William Troxel

We have two events occurring this week.

Wednesday, our church is hosting the January birthday party at the Nenana Living Center.  The NSLC has birthday parties once a month for the student born in that month.  The party will start at 7:30.  Jeannie has asked that all helpers arrive about 15 minutes early.

Saturday is the next freecycle.  Who doesn't love a rummage sale where everything is free?  Do some early spring cleaning and bring treasures to share.  When you leave, everything of yours not taken must be reclaimed by you.  You can always drop the remains off at the thrift store now open in Nenana.

Freecycle starts at 5:30 at the Civic Center.  Soup is the theme for dinner.

October Is Upon Us

posted Oct 13, 2014, 11:07 AM by William Troxel

The Troxel family is back from a short break and so happy to be home.  Thank you all so much for the pastor & wife appreciation card and our presents!  We feel God's blessing in sending us here.

This past Sunday was our potluck.  Following, we had the inaugural youth group event.  I had a lot of fun doing crafts and trivia with the youth.  We then turned to our theme verse and the application in our lives.  Want to know what the theme verse is?  Ask one of the youth.  They are memorization masters.

Looking ahead, our fall business meeting will be in November.  This meeting is to ratify the budget for 2015.  The meeting will follow a potluck on November 23rd.

The sermons in October will return to the Psalms.  We will resume James1 in November.  Thanks to Art for covering while I was away!
