TRIP UPDATE 10/24/2023 -

Today starts the sale of the trash bag fundraiser!  We will be conducting a trash bag sale to raise funds for our trip. We are excited to offer our families and supporters a high quality product that is something we all need and use.  Your friends neighbors and relatives all need and use trash bags.  These bags are bigger and stronger than anything available in stores.  They can be used for anything around the house so feel free to stock up.  Proceeds will go to your account and be used for the upcoming trip.

Fundraiser Deadline - Tuesday November 7, 2023

 

TRIP UPDATE 10/5/2023 -

The first fundraiser is is asking for Donations.  One of those ways could be sending a letter to family or close friends.  Attached is a Microsoft Word form which you can change any way you want and a PDF form on how it will look if you decide to use this.  Students in the past have used this letter to call instead of sending something through the mail.  Asking for donations for the trip is the most cost efficient way to bring down your cost.  It is a 100% profit for you.  Remember you do not have to do this at all, this is just an opportunity for you and your child to reduce the cost.

One of the things the letter shows you is that when you log into your Academic Expedition Account in the drop down menu is something called Fund my Trip.  If you click on that you can copy and paste that URL link.  That link goes directly to your child's account and people can make a donation with a credit card.

Another way students can help bring down the cost is by doing jobs.  For example, babysitting, yard work, odd jobs around the house, etc.  Students can ask you for birthday gifts or holiday gifts to help out for DC.
