United Methodist Men

God has given men a lot of responsibility as fathers, husbands, sons, friends and brothers. To successfully manage these responsibilities, men need the support of one another.

Seasonal Programs

What special days of the Christian year do the United Methodist Church observe?

With other Christian churches, The United Methodist Church celebrates the special days and seasons of Advent, Lent, Ordinary Time and Pentecost.

Our worship committee and pastor strive to make each of these pivitol seasons fulfilling in spirit and engrained in tradition. We pray they will bring a sense of comfort, compassion, elation, reverence and understanding of what helps to mold us as Christians as we worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his Father, our God.

Church Committees

"I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength,

that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service."

1 Timothy 1:11-13

In the United Methodist Church, there are several 'governing' bodies, composed of laity and clergy, that keep the church as a building and congregation alive and well. This is where the congregation gets its missions, its programs, its outreach and its financial solvency.

All of the people that sit on the councils and committees are selected according to prayer and various guidelines set forth in the Book of Discipline. Each person voluntarily accepts the position they are called to serve and is willing and eager to help in their particular area of service either.

We invite you to learn more about our various important church committees by visiting the Church Committees web page.
