On Bended Knees

Weldon Family

Please pray for a period of peace and tranquility for Wor Bro Jason and his family.... (See below)

--Bill McGloin, WM

My grandmother passed this morning just before 7:00 am.  Mom told me that she went peacefully and just stopped breathing.  I will miss her dearly, but I am thankful that she was spared from years of mental and physical decline via Alzheimer’s.  She was 92, and lived in Sylacauga, AL (sil-eh-kog-eh), which is my hometown.  She was known as “Mawmaw Elise.”  I grew up living 2 houses away, so she half raised me and my sister.  She was the last of the grandparents for both Karen and I.

.......] We will miss her dearly, but more than anything, I’m happy knowing where she is now, who she’s with, and that she no longer has a debilitating disease.

[A recent picture] contains Karen, her parents, and our kids, from the same birthday party.  Looking back, that was such a great day, and I thank God that we were able to experience it.

This is the 4th funeral for Karen and I in only 2 months.  Hopefully this is it for our family in the near future.  Prayers are greatly appreciated.

Brethren, please keep Wor.Bro Jason, wife Karen and the kids in your prayers. Jason's Aunt passed last Friday. Then on Saturday, RW Bro Sam passed and Karen's father was buried. Also, Jason's Aunt passed and the funeral is Friday down in Alabama.

Please keep the whole family in your prayers.

This from Jason.....

"Both Sam and Dennis (father-in-law) were long-time mentors to me, and it grieves me deeply to lose them.  My Aunt lived 4 houses from my parents, so I grew up with her always around.

Losing so many family members (we consider Sam family) in a short time has been very rough on our family, especially the kids (Christian – 4, Leah – 6).  Prayers are appreciated."

Merrie Colvard wife of Joe Colvard State Director of the District Deputies passed away last night (1/23).
Please keep Joe in your prayers

W.W. Are, PM

Brother W.W. Are is in failing health. He is a Past Master - in the same generation as Bro Sam - and they were close friends. W W was raised in 1952!

Please keep him in your prayers along with son, Skip and the family, when on bended knees in devotion to Almighty God.
