Hiramic Legend for Masters Degree

After a warm welcome from the Worshipful Master, Jason Weldon, and a delicious breakfast prepared by the Wardens and Stewards of Nelms Masonic Lodge No. 323 in Smyrna, GA, the Dallas Fellowcraft Club was honored to dramatize the Hiramic Legend at Nelms Lodge on May 23. Brother Salvatore Esposito was Nelms' Candidate.

The Club was doubly honored by having the part of King Solomon played by Most Worshipful Brother A. Ray Earwood, PGM of Masons in Georgia and a member of Nelms Lodge. It had been over 20 years since he had assumed the role of King Solomon in the dramatization, but truly, one would have thought that it had not been 20 days. Although all who know him would agree that he would be the last to say this, his natural demeanor lends itself well to this regal character. MWB Ray somehow remembered every line, and his delivery was magnificent. His was truly an amazing performance and the Club was so happy that he accepted their invitation to again share his talents.

The event was a homecoming of sorts for the Dallas Fellowcraft Club, since Bro. Dwayne Fennell brought the script which Nelms Lodge had acquired to Dallas Masonic Lodge No. 182 when he became a member there years ago. What goes around comes around!
