I am a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford, working with Professor Mac Schwager. I received my PhD in Mechanical engineering at UC Berkeley under the supervision of Professor Roberto Horowitz. I received bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. The ultimate goal of my research is to facilitate autonomy to go beyond single-agent systems. The focus of my research is to develop algorithms that allow autonomous systems to become prevalent and integrated into the fabric of human life, and further once integrated, act in the favor of society.
I will be joining the Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as an Assistant Professor in August 2020!
