Dear Friends,

We still need one speller for our NHS PTC team this year!  Please join us for this year's Annual NEF Spelling Bee on Wednesday April 4th.  You don't have to be a star speller, just come out and join the fun!  Learn more about the NEF Spelling Beehere.  If you are interested in joining our NHS PTC team, please contact Rachel Miller at or Rebecca Turner at .

Best wishes,

Needham Craft Fair - Join us for a Volunteer Info Meetup!

Do you live for the thrill of participating in a successful event?

If you enjoy team collaboration while getting to know the parents in your school community, then join the Needham Craft Fair Volunteer Team.

The Needham High School PTC Craft Fair & Silent Auction is the only fundraising event of the year and we pull out all the stops to make it a success!

This PTC fundraising event features a Craft Fair, Silent Auction and Bake Sale. The monies made during these events benefit all our students.

We seek volunteers in several different capacities from a 2-hour shifts to becoming part of our organizational team.

So whether you currently have a high school student, an incoming student, or would like to be involved in the buzz around town, come to one of our meetups and maybe your curiosity will be piqued.

March 14th PTC Coffee Recap
Thank you to all who joined us for our March 14th PTC Principal's Coffee.  We had a good crowd (we just barely fit around the table)!  Dr. Neves gave a timely description of all the Fine and Performing Arts course offerings at Needham High School and discussed ideas for new courses with parents.  He also spoke about the many things that the FPA students have been up to recently--students selected to perform in Districts, students whose work has won Scholastic Art awards, students participating in the performance of "The Drowsy Chaperone", the Sara Bareilles visit and donation to the music department, and the upcoming trip to NYC among other things.  Whew!  Dr. Pizzi conversed with parents about the new cell phone policy and National Honor Society.  There were some interesting thoughts from both "veteran" parents and those newer to the high school and the process. We have one more coffee scheduled this year--May 9th--and we hope you'll be able to join us.
