 SHORT FRICTION

I DREAMT I WAS SLEEPING

This weeks fiction selection is a subjective riddle of the senses in the form of a string of consciousness poem. It was written one groggy morning as the after-taste of a recent dream was still fresh on the tip of my tongue. Like all things, since it was there, I decided to recorded it. It's a difficult poem to explain and one may argue that it is more of an excercise in futility. That's fine. Most things are, lol. Hope you like it.

FRESH PAINT

This weeks Art Spotlight features a painting I did back in 2004. It's an expressionist piece meant to parrallel the world's great industrial Depression of the 1930's with the personal depression people can face in their individual lives. It's painted with high-grade acrylics on gessoed masonite. Creating this piece was an enlighening artistic experience. I hope you like it as well.

DAVID CRONENBERG'S "CAMERA"

Since then I have been mystified by Scanners, confused by Spider, excited by eXistenZ, sickened by Shivers, scared and amused simultaneously by The Brood, and inspired by Dead Ringers. Well, I recently came across a short film he did called "Camera" that really changed the way I see things. So I thought I would share it with you. Hope you dig it!
