Club Information

Nebraska Heartland was established in 2006 by co-directors Julie Bohlen and Abie Ott and has included players from the following communities:  Hastings, Clay Center, Doniphan, Trumbull, St. Paul, Grand Island, Aurora, Geneva, and Blue Hill.  One of the goals of the club is to provide an opportunity for all players to improve, regardless of previous experience.  Nebraska Heartland provides players with experienced coaches from the high school/college level or coaches who are current or previous college volleyball players with coaching and/or prior club experience.  Our club and coaching staff strives to create the best possible club volleyball learning experience for all players and hopes to improve not only individual players as they prepare for the next level of competition but also area high school programs.

Depending upon the numbers of coaches and players, any player who is serious about her commitment to improving and to being a part of Nebraska Heartland can be accepted.  Tryouts assist coaches in knowing what players’ abilities are, at what level players should be placed, and how many players we will have available for each team.

If you have questions about Nebraska Heartland Volleyball, please contact director Thera Jones at tjones@esu9.org.
