Frank Solich had the misfortune of following one of not only Nebraskas, but  footballs all time best coaches, and right after his, and college footballs, most succesful periods.  Most other schools and times the following record would be looked on as being pretty good.

1998-2003 ---- W 58 -19;  .753 % (NU won its bowl game after Soich was fired following last game of season)
