PTA Bylaws

BYLAWS FOR NEWPORT COAST ELEMENTARY PTA 2009 REVISIONS 

 

Article IV Membership:

 

1.  Section 6, replace, “First Monday of October” with “October 7”

2.  Section 7, replace “First Monday of November” with “November 7”

 

Article V – Officers and Their Election

 

         1.         Section 3, g., insert the month of “March”

         2.         Section 7, insert  the month of “March” for the annual election

   4.   Section 5, replace “Eighteen (18)” with “Seventeen (17)”

   

Article VI – Duties of Officers

 

         1.         Section 1, e.,  choose “council” on both lines two and three and insert  “May 1”

         2.         Section 3, First Vice President of “Benefit” is removed and replaced with “Ways & Means” (“Benefit” returns to a chair position not on the executive board)

         3.         Section 3, Add: Third Vice President shall serve as Character Education & Community Outreach Chairman (this combines the two formerly separate VP’s)

 

Article VII – Association meetings

 

         1.         Section 2, insert the month of “March” for annual elections
