MFF Thailand at Marine Science Conference 2010
To promote the International Year of Biodiversity 2010 and showcase MFF work in
Thailand. This conference led by Department of Marine and Coastal Resources
(DMCR) together with other 16 organizations. The event was held in Phuket
during 28-30 June 2010. The participation of MFF in this conference was planned
and endorsed by National Coordinating Body of Mangroves for the Future Thailand
(NCB).
MFF occupied a booth for 3 days to display posters from different
projects (two large projects and posters from BMZ) and disseminate brochure and
other communication products.
On the last session of the conference on the 30th June
2010, MFF host the seminar forum and invited traditional dance play by school
students from Nakorn Srithammarat.
Objective of the seminar
To promote the work of MFF on the partnership based approach to
conserve coastal biodiversity for sustainable livelihood of coastal
communities.
