1955-56: Fresno State joins from the California Collegiate Athletic AssociationLoyola Marymount and Pepperdine join after competing as independents. Conference changes its name to the West Coast Athletic Conference. Membership increases to 8.
1957-58: Fresno State leaves to fully align with the California Collegiate Athletic AssociationMembership decreases to 7.
1964-65: UCSB joins from the California Collegiate Athletic AssociationMembership increases to 8.
