We are The 307th!

The newest squadron in the North Carolina Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. We are mothers, fathers,
grandparents, sons and daughters, doctors, chemists, fire fighters, law enforcement officers, homemakers,
students, business men and women, former active military, EMTs, mechanics, IT specialists, retirees... members from every walk of life. We proudly serve the nation, the state of North Carolina, and local communities in the areas of Search and Rescue, Aerospace Education, and Cadet Programs.

Our senior member roster is strong. Training in Emergency Services, Communications, and other specialties gives our members choice and opportunity.  We have many pilots with private and commercial licenses as well as professional flight instructors.  Some of our senior members are not pilots, but
dedicated to staff positions within the squadron.  Many are flight crew qualified as Mission Scanners and earning wings as
Mission Observers.   Many are highly trained in the ground portion of Search and Rescue, utilizing specialties, techniques and equipment such as Urban Direction Finders and
SARTECH training.  All have a sense of volunteerism and professionalism.  Proud to serve and display the uniform.

Our cadet program is just starting out and needs cadets to get going. Cadets range in age from 12 to 20. Some cadets move on to the military and to rewarding civilian careers. Cadets master many skills and specialties that prepare them for life ahead.. and more.  A sense of leadership is what it is all about. They drill and learn military  customs and courtesies.

Captain Craig Myrick

Welcome to the Guilford Composite Squadron website.

This squadron is an active squadron supporting all of the missions of the Civil Air Patrol.  These missions include

Emergency Service,

pace Education and

Cadet Programs.  Our Cadet

program is just starting and will be hosting Cadets from Airman to Lt. Colonel, with a passion for

excellence.  Supporting these Cadets will be a strong and experienced Senior member staff.

I encourage you to review our website and learn more about the squadron and the Civil Air Patrol by reviewing the information and links

available here.

If you see something of interest, I would suggest you consider a visit to one of our Thursday night meetings to experience the weekly activities.  You can find the list of activities in the calendar section of the website.  You will find an environment filled with growth in leadership, teamwork, and education.
