About Me

This is the personal website of Nazia Hossain. I am a PhD student of Information Technology in Federation University Australia, Berwick campus from March 2021. Previously, I was working as a faculty member at American International University-Bangladesh in the Department of Computer Science (CS) since January 2020. Before that, I was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in Stamford University Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh from November 2018 to January 2020. In the same university, I was lecturer and senior lecturer from September 2013 to March 2016 and March 2016 to November 2018 respectively.

I obtained my B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in the year 2011, and 2018 respectively.

I have a great passion for teaching and research. My research interest includes voice signal processing, natural language processing, biomedical and health informatics. In my M.Sc, I worked on voice based user identification.
