Almond Cinnamon Energy Balls

3/4 cup Almond Butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup Maple Syrup
1 Tablespoon Flax Meal
1 1/2 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
Dash Salt
2 1/2 Tablespoons Vanilla Protein Powder, plus more if your almond butter is super oily
1/3 cup Gluten Free Oats

In a medium sized bowl, combine the almond butter and maple syrup until smooth. Add the flax, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Mix to combine. Add protein powder, 1 tablespoon at a time to fully incorporate. If you find your dough is too oily, add another teaspoon or so. Add the oats and mix well. Roll into small balls. Enjoy immediately or store covered in the fridge. Balls will firm up slightly when chilled.
