                 Group Size? 10-20 Runners (10 minimum/20 maximum).   For runners of all ability levels!

               What you'll get:

              I. One on One Coaching

 Between Brian and Ashley, there are 15 years and 27 coaching seasons of XC and Track. Our passion is helping people develop mental toughness, physical strength, and running knowledge. Because we are limiting the size of the running group, we will be able to give individualized attention to EACH runner. We want to know every runner's strengths and weaknesses.We will set mile-split goals (training and racing) for each runner and advise on racing strategies.  The goal is to develop a true "team" environment and foster a running family. We plan on incorporating the best parts of organized team sports: individualized attention, team support, and mutual goals.

II. Nutritional Guidance

A unique feature of Natty Run's training group is the nutritional guidance we provide to supplement your running. Nutrition plays such a key role in endurance sports and many runners mal-nourish their bodies (denying their bodies either the correct QUANTITY or QUALITY of food). We strive to help runners fuel to endure rigorous training. As a runner in our group, you will receive materials/information from our nutrition clinics at weekly practices. You will learn how to fuel your body for training, but also for weight loss. Contrary to popular belief, running is not ALWAYS the easiest way to lose weight. Many runners who improperly fuel their bodies will accumulate belly fat, due to cortisol problems that result from high intensity training.  With our background in both running and nutrition, we can help educate you for this marathon season, and for life after your race. 

Note: For an additional fee, all runners have the option of upgrading their package to include a customized daily meal plan. This plan will be aligned with their goals of improving performance, shedding fat, or both. It will be followed up with nutritional consulting and monitoring of weight/muscle/fat for 4 weeks; after which runners can renew on a monthly basis. 

III. A Training Regimen 

Natty Runners will meet twice a week for group training; and will also be given mileage and time goals to hit on their own. Additional workouts will be provided (speed, hills, tempo runs, etc. as needed on the days we meet).

IV. A Good Workout and Ab "bootcamp" 

Each week we will conduct a "core boot camp" to work on the under-emphasized but EVER IMPORTANT CORE and ABDOMEN. This is your physical "center" and its strength can make or break a run. 

V. Running Instructional Practices: 

We seek to educate people on various facets of running including proper stretching, injury prevention, racing strategies, running form, and shoe selection.
