This exhibition in a Victorian house on Coptic Street, Bloomsbury (in my studio building) explored the disjunct between object and artifact. The results from an intense 4 month period of studying at the British Museum, the show featured drawing, paintings and sculptures. Engaging the ideas that objects leave a traceable imprint in the mind and that objects are themselves artifacts of a making process, the high energy works represent a personal grapple with the physical aspect of time, memory and the unimportance of time spent.
