Welcome & Worship Schedule

Concluding the celebration of our 53rd year this Easter, Nativity Lutheran Church, a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), welcomes you to our faith community.  Whether you are already a Christ follower or someone seeking answers for the questions of life, we invite you to visit and learn more with us.   Feel free to call or email us if you'd like to get more information before your visit.  Pastor Brent Thalacker is available to answer any questions you may have about Nativity or the Lutheran understanding of our faith.  We look forward to meeting you soon!

Worship 9:30 a.m. every Sunday celebrating Holy Communion.  Coffee, snack and fellowship are offered following the service.

Upcoming Events

Choir:  Provides an Anthem at the 9:30 a.m. worship some Summer Sundays, preceded with a practice Sundays at 8:45 a.m.

Gifts of Hope, now in its 26th year, will be available at our congregation during Advent and you will see some new changes.  First, Gifts of Hope has a new dove logo.  Second, there is a new Christmas card, designed by a high school student from Manassas, VA.  Third, the 2018 Catalog of Gifts is 50% bigger and printed in color. Fourth, the catalog has a Challenge Gift (#42), with lead donors matching your donation, dollar for dollar.  And finally, the Community of St. Dysmas, a congregation and ministry in the Maryland State prison system, is the latest beneficiary organization to join Gifts of Hope.   Learn more about Gift of Hope, its 19 beneficiaries, and 42 gifts by looking at the new catalog and at its website: giftsofhopedc.org.  Working together—volunteers, donors, congregations, and the beneficiary organizations—we make a difference today and tomorrow.
