Welcome & Worship Schedule

Concluding the celebration of our 50th year this Easter, Nativity Lutheran Church, a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), welcomes you to our faith community.  Whether you are already a Christ follower or someone seeking answers for the questions of life, we invite you to visit and learn more with us.   Feel free to call or email us if you'd like to get more information before your visit.  Pastor Brent Thalacker is available to answer any questions you may have about Nativity or the Lutheran understanding of our faith.  We look forward to meeting you soon!

Worship 9:30 a.m. every Sunday celebrating Communion.

Young at Heart:  Our children will continue to join Pastor Brent or Eric at worship for the "Big Idea" and from time to time will gather as a small group for seasonal lessons and crafts.

Our nursery is staffed and open on Sunday mornings.

Hurricane Disaster Relief

Dear friends,

The National Hurricane Center called the storm’s effects “life-threatening, devastating and catastrophic” and predicted long periods of rain and flooding, along with massive power outages. While many have evacuated, significant damage is still expected, and thousands of people may be housed in shelters for extended periods of time.

We have an opportunity to accompany our neighbors during and after this disaster, in Jesus Christ’s name.

Your support through Lutheran Disaster Response will bring hope and healing to those who have been or will be affected by this hurricane. Lutheran Disaster Response is already collaborating with our affiliates to initiate recovery efforts.   Donations:  ELCA.org/disaster

Gifts of Hope—Making a Difference Today and Tomorrow

Thank you for supporting Gifts of Hope last Advent. Gifts of Hope raised a total of $111,635.00 from the congregations in our Synod and from online support. Members and friends of Nativity Lutheran Church purchased gifts valued at $720.00 (more than doubling your 2014 support).   All funds have been distributed to the designated beneficiary organizations.  Your support provides hope for today and hope for tomorrow.

Anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, memorials—the Gifts of Hope Catalog is available year-round at our website:  www.giftsofhopedc.org.   Select a gift from the online catalog and you will receive an all-purpose card to present to your honored loved one.
