So Cal Nationals was founded by Coach Harold Hicks in 2006. In 2011Coach Harold Hicks began Coaching at The College of the Desert. The Nationals main goal is to develop the athletic, academic, and emotional growth of our players. We believe push academics and strive for excellence.
With college exposure being the main emphasis of the organization. Nationals attends all the major college showcase tournaments, as well as focusing on the goal of winning Nationals.
So Cal Nationals has assisted over 150 players in earning a scholarship to top Universities; such as San Jose State University, Oklahoma University, Midland College, Long Beach State University, Bethune Cookman, Boston University, BYU of Hawaii, South Dakota University, University of Alabama, Florida State University, Chico State University, University of San Diego , Cal State San Bernardino, Cal Baptist University, University of California-Riverside, Memphis University, San Diego State University, University of Michigan, Doane College, Missouri Valley and Cal State Fullerton.
Being a part of The Nationals is being a part of a FAMILY. Our goal as a coaching staff is to TEACH our young ladies and provide them with the best opportunity to become a top softball player.
So Cal Nationals "You Train You Win"
We are looking to for girls that are ready to train and work hard to prepare them for the next level. Our Coach who has over 10 years in travel, as well as Coached at the College Level for 4 years will be preparing his players for the future. The players will endure rigorous training regiments such as speed, agility, and quickness. We will have a very intense infield and outfield workout. This is the chance for a new start and fresh beginnings for college bound players that know the game and will train hard to get that scholarship. We will only carry 15 players on our roster.
