National Honor Society is an extracurricular activity at Bloomington High School South that recognizes students based upon scholarship, leadership, character, and service. 
Membership Criteria:

Membership is extended to students who meet the following criteria: 1) Juniors with 3.5 GPA at the end of 7 trimesters, OR Seniors with a 3.5 GPA at the end of 9 trimesters 2) Active participation in at least two activities one of which must be at BHSS; the other may be a community activity 3) Faculty recommendations based on leadership and character

Current Members 
  • Tutor at least one time per month during Panther Plus Time or PACE
  • Organize and work two Red Cross Blood Drives during the school year
  • Fundraise for Holiday Child (a BHSS student council program that provides MCCSC elementary students with gifts during the holiday season.
