I am a Ph.D. candidate in Chris Witt's lab in the Department of Biology and Museum of Southwestern Biology at the University of New Mexico. I study avian evolution, biogeography, morphology, and ecology. I use macroecological and phylogenetic comparative methods across wide swaths of the avian tree in addition to detailed field studies on one or a few species to test questions about morphology and evolutionary ecology. Much of my research involves museum collections and databases, to which I contribute through specimen collection and preparation.
