2019-2020 National 4-H GIS/GPS Leadership Team Application

Members of the National 4-H GIS/GPS Leadership Team (GGLead) promote geospatial education by developing projects and sharing ideas with 4-H and other groups. If you are interested in this leadership opportunity, complete and submit the PDF application forms linked below. Please read the guidelines and participation requirements carefully, and start raising the funds required for travel to San Diego.

  • Download the fillable PDF application forms using the download arrow of the links below.
  • Use Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat to complete and digitally sign the forms. While you may be able to open and edit the form with other software or mobile device apps, it may corrupt the file and may not allow digital signatures.
  • Complete all the required form fields.
  • Be sure to save the form when done editing, and insert your state and your name as part of the filename!
  • Sign digitally in the appropriate box. There is a link on the signature page to a help site for digital signatures.
  • Submit the completed forms to both e-mail addresses shown on the last page.
  • Only entries submitted using these original PDF forms will be accepted! Forms must be electronically completed. Printed and scanned forms will not be accepted.
  • Some states may have a selection process for determining GGLead nominees. Contact your State 4-H Office if you have questions.
    • Procedure for Tennessee 4-H members: Tennessee selects nominees from winners of the Tennessee 4-H GIS Contest. Your application to GGLead is part of the contest entry, and your Extension 4-H agent will be contacted if you are selected for the honor. Download the Tennessee 4-H GIS Contest Rules and Entry Forms, and contact your Tennessee 4-H agent about entering the contest. The Tennessee 4-H GIS Contest entry deadline is February 1, 2019.
Applications will be accepted until February 1, 2019.

Download the files to your computer by clicking the download arrow located to the right of the filename below. Please notice that there is a form to be completed by the team adult leader, and another form to be completed by each 4-H youth member.
