The 14th NY District includes 5 councils in eastern Nassau County, NY

  All councils are in good standing and are members of the Nassau Division and the Nassau Chapter.    District Meetings are held at 8 PM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Hartigan Council.

 

 The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic men's fraternal service organization with more than 1.72 million members worldwide.  New York State is home to over 100,000 members and Nassau County is the largest jurisdiction in NYS with some 18,000 knights.    Over the past decade, the Knights of Columbus has donated $1.174 billion and provided in excess of 560 million hours of volunteer effort in support of charitable causes.

The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 in New Haven Conn. by Father Michael J. McGivney.

If you have candidates that you would like to have participate in an upcoming degree, contact the Grand Knight or the Financial Secretary of the Host Council at least one week prior to the degree.

Candidates are elegible for degrees only in the half of the county as defined by the location of their district.
