6th Grade Hudson Tournament vs Londonderry

The 6th Grade Nighthawks dropped their opening game to Londonderry, losing in OT 45-41.  Each of Nashua's players scored points.  Leading the offense were Jeffrey Reza (10 pts, 2 boards, 1 steal), Andrew Penkala (8 pts, 8 boards), and Matt Wall (7 pts, 3 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal).  The Hawks also received solid performances from Casey McNally (4 pts, 3 boards), Gabe Perrault (3 pts, 2 assists, 1 steal), and two points each from Jake Robbins (5 boards, 3 blocks, 1 steal), Tyler Downing (3 assists), Chase Hart (6 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal), and Stephen McLendon.  Nashua also received tough interior play from Chris Inzerillo (1 pt, 4 boards, 1 steal).  Nashua plays Windham in their second game of the tournament.

6th Grade Nighthawks v Tewksbury 1/13/13

The 6th Grade Nighthawks won their first regular season game by defeating Tewksbury 46-35.  The win was a complete team effort, with every player contributing.  Nashua was led offensively by Andrew Penkala who scored 15 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and collected 3 assists.  The Hawks also received a strong offensive output from Jake Robbins (12 pts, 8 boards, 3 blocks, 1 steal).  Also scoring for Nashua were Casey McNally (4 pts, 2 steals, 1 board, 1 assist), Matt Wall (4 pts, 3 boards, 2 assists), Jeff Reza (4 pts, 2 boards, 1 assist), Stephen McLendon (3 pts, 2 assists), and two points each from Tyler Downing (2 assists, 1 board) and Chase Hart (3 boards).  Also playing well for Nashua were Chris Inzerillo who played great interior defense (2 boards and 1 assist), and Gabe Perrault who played well at the point.

Nighthawks v Dracut 1/12/13

The 6th Grade Nighthawks battled Dracut for the second straight weekend; however, the Hawks once again fell, losing 42-32.  Nashua was led offensively by Stephen McLendon (10 pts, 1 board, 1 assist) and Andrew Penkala (10 pts, 8 boards, 2 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal).  The entire team battled hard all game and received points from Chase Hart (5 pts, 2 assists), Matt Wall (5 pts, 1 board), and two points each from Gabe Perrault, Jake Robbins (2 boards, 2 blocks, 1 assist), Casey McNally (4 boards, 2 steals, 1 assist), and Jeff Reza.  Chris Inzerillo also chipped in with one point and three rebounds, while Tyler Downing played very well at the point and defensively.

Nighthawks v Dracut 1/6/13

The 6th grade Nighthawks once again played hard, but lost 53-40 to Dracut, MA.  Offensively, Nashua was led by Jake Robbins (10 pts, 1 board, 1 steal), Andrew Penkala (7 pts, 9 boards, 1 assist), and Chase Hart (5 pts, 2 boards).  The Hawks also received solid games from Matt Wall (4 pts), Casey McNally (3 pts, 4 boards, 1 assist), Jeffrey Reza ( 3 pts, 2 boards), Stephen McLendon (3 pts, 3 boards), Gabe Perrault (3 pts, 2 boards, 4 assists, and 2 steals), and Chris Inzerillo (2 pts, 1 assist).  Also playing well for Nashua was Tyler Downing, who ran the point effectively and played tough defense.
