You can use this document which contains all the steps and links to the tutorial videos. Make a copy and edit as necessary for your particular assignment.

An example of a narrated slideshow created with Google tools:

Step 1:  Building the slideshow and downloading each slide as an image file.

Step 2:  Uploading the images to WeVideo and building the basic video.

Step 3:  Narrating the slideshow.

Step 4:  Making final adjustments, Finishing and turning in the video through Google Classroom.
