I have been told today that CLASP have been awarded £500 towards the cost of the magnetometer by the Robert Kiln Charitable Trust. This is a charitable trust founded by the late Robert Kiln, a Lloyds underwriter who had a philanthropic attitude to archaeology.

This leaves CLASP another £2500 to raise as quickly as possible, CLASP do have another couple of leads which will be pursued but as was said in a recent circulation, any donations and or leads to other sources would be appreciated.

NARC congratulates all involved in achieving this award. Well done everyone.
