Touro University and NapaLearns Prepare Napa County Teachers and Students for the Future

In Fall 2010, the
Touro University Graduate School of Education and Napa Valley Unified School District  forged a partnership to support the school district to develop teacher leaders in innovative uses of technology. In spring 2011,
NapaLearns joined the partnershop and began sponsoring district master's degree candidates who agreed to help research the effect of the curriculum reform efforts funded by NapaLearns.

Since then, NapaLearns has extended this partnership opportunity to all districts in Napa County including:
  • Calisoga Joint Unified School District (CJUSD)
  • Napa County Office of Education
  • St. Helena Unified School District
  • Howell Mountain Elementary School District
All graduates of our Master of Arts in Education with emphasis in Educational Technology degree program demonstrate their mastery of both the ISTE NETS for Teachers standards and their work towards developing experiences for students and colleagues that infuse 21st century learning skills.  The four C's: Critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity guide this endeavor.
