This website combines information created by Stacey Frederick for the CNS Summer Internship program in 2008 and 2009 at the University of California-Santa Barbara. Each step in the research process has a page. Value chain research introductory materials were also included to introduce mentors and students to this research methodology.

This site was originally created as a Google Group the students used as a collaborative tool that also provided them with the project outline.
Students and mentors were permitted to create discussions or upload files to share, but were not allowed to edit or create pages. Students were encouraged to share documents using Google Documents and the outcomes of the final projects were displayed on a separate Google site: CNS-UCSB Traveling Technologies: Carbon Nanotubes (2009).
