Nancy's big project last year was creating our vegetable garden. This year, she shifted her focus to the landscaping. Here's the catch: she did it all with existing plants and edging! That's right, Nancy relocated innumerable bulbs from the back yard to the front, pulled up and re-installed a bunch of edging, and graded it all with wheelbarrow after wheelbarrowfull of soil. All this, and she still managed to plant a vegetable garden!
Those are zinnias sprouting along the left. Nancy also planted marigolds.
Peter (aka Ebenezer Scrooge) did allow Nancy to buy a few hanging plants.
The tomatoes, onions, peppers and jalapenos are finally ripe. Here's part of Nancy's harvest!
