Piping Gel

This recipe has been taken from the Australian Women's Weekly Cookbooks Kids' Birthday Cakes

Please note that all measurements are Australian Metric

1/3 Cup (75g) Caster Sugar

1 Tablespoon Cornflour

1/4 Cup (60ml) Lemon Juice

1/4 Cup (60ml) water

Combine sugar and cornflour in a small saucepan; gradually blend in juice then the water.  Stir over high heat until mixture boils and thickens.

Colour as desired.

I used this as the water on the Fishing Boat Cake
