One in four adults experiences a mental health disorder in a given year and mental illness can affect persons of any age, race or socioeconomic status. Further, one in seventeen adults live with a serious mental illness. For those diagnosed with mental illnesses such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or other conditions, moving toward recovery can be a life-changing experience.
