Present day activities include ;
Learning new skills,
Using professional lapidary equipment,
Meeting with friendly like minded people
and generally enjoying a great environment.
LAPIDARY WORK:
Cutting, Grinding and Polishing Gemstones and Rocks
SILVER WORK:
Using quality silver working equipment, and creating silver jewellery.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
We participate each year in the :-
Nambour Agricultural Show
the Garden Show
We also host the Gemfest Show, usually held in the second week of October.
Fossicking trips and visits to other Gemfest's are organised on an 'ad hoc' basis with other members,
