Craft Fair Saturday 11th November 2017 10am - 4pm

Nailsea Methodist Church's annual Craft Fair is now regarded as one of the most popular events in the area with over 500 adult visitors and nearly 100 children, for whom we organise craft activities and games. Last year we raised a magnificent sum of about £2,000 from table bookings, entrance fees and refreshments and we are indebted to the stallholders for attracting the visitors with a good range of crafts and skills. From the sum raised, we supported charities with which our church members have a close association. Some went towards the work of the Francisco Rojas School in Peru (a school set up to provide Christian support, education and food for over 250 pupils in a poor district of Arequipa where many children do not get to school at all). We also supported Phakamisa (based at the Methodist church in Durban, South Africa which supports the nurture and training of the local Zulu population). The remainder was sent to other mission activities supported by the church at home and overseas.  We are planning to use the money raised at the Craft Fair this year for supporting some new and other similar mission and outreach activities of the Methodist Church
