Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped millions of men and women become more confident in front of an audience.

Na Hoku Kai is Hawaii's advanced Toastmasters club, comprised of experienced Toastmasters seeking both to hone their speaking and leadership skills as well as provide support for the Toastmasters and Clubs of District 49 through mentoring, coaching and sponsoring. Na Hoku Kai means "the starfish" - the club takes its name from the parable of a boy rescuing stranded starfish by throwing them back in the ocean. When asked by a passerby what difference would it make with thousands of stranded starfish, the boy tosses a starfish back into the water and smiles, "It made a difference to that one!"

Na Hoku Kai is an advanced community club, open to all who have completed their Competent Communicator manual or Level Three in Pathways and already belong to another Toastmasters club.

Na Hoku Kai Toastmasters meetings:

1st and 3rd Mondays, 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. (with some changes to accommodate holidays.)
