Conference on Algebraic Geometry and related areas, 10-12 July 2018

On the occasion of sixtieth birthday of Professor D.S. Nagaraj, a renowned Indian mathematician, a conference is being organised to honour him. This meeting will be held at Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai. The dates are 10,11,12 July 2018.

His areas of interest include Algebraic Geometry, Commutative Algebra and Number theory.

This event aims to bring together experts on these subject areas and celebrate his work, spread over several decades.

Information for selected participants:

1) The selected outstation participants will be accomodated at  IIT-Madras Guest house (standard arr/dep: Evening of 9 July till Morning of 13 July). Address will be communicated by email.

2) Dinner and Breakfast will be provided at the IIT-Guesthouse, during their stay. Lunch and refreshments will be provided at the conference venue, Ramanujam Auditorium, at IMSc.

3) There will be a Banquet for conference participants on the evening of 11 July.

4)  There will be a shuttle/transport from IIT-Guest house to IMSc in the mornings of  10,11,12 July  and back in the evenings.
 Timing: 8.15 am and 8.45 am from IIT-Guesthouse to IMSc.
             6.00 pm and 6.45 pm from IMSc to IIT-Guesthouse.
