Nadia Kalman is a 2012-2013 Literature Fellow of the
National Endowment for the Arts. The Cosmopolitans,
her first novel, draws upon her family’s experiences as Soviet immigrants in suburban
Connecticut. It won the Emerging Writer Award from Moment magazine and
was a finalist for the Rohr Prize in Jewish Literature.
