At present, I am the Program Manager of Ranao Socio-economic Upliftment Foundation Inc. (RSEUFI) with principal office at MSU Heights, Marawi City, with which a non-government organization I have been associated since 2003 shortly after my contract with MOVIMONDO, an Italian internaltional non-government organization, ended.

I am now handling two projects: The BEAM-HOME ACESSS Program, a project of the Philippine Government (GoP) through the Department of Education (DepEd) with support from The Australian Government (GoA) through its Australian Agency for International Development (AusAid) and "Developing Local Agricultural Productivity" of the Philippine-Canada Local Governance Support for Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao (LGSPA).

This BEAM-HOME ASFP ACCESS Program involves the establishment of of Community Learning Centers (CLC's), provision of and services for acquiring Early Childhood Education (ECE), promotion of Functional Literacy ( FL) and improving the livelihood and income of parents thereby enabling them to support and sustain their children's education and the provision of vocational training for Out of School Youths (OSY's).

This program is in support to DepEd's program implementation to provide opportunities for disadvantaged groups specifically, Muslim children who are in remote and isolated places to have access to basic education. Our Target areas are in the municipalities of Kapai, Piagao, Ganassi, and Ditsaan-Ramain, Lanao del Sur. Being a program Manager, my duties included the following:

  • Implement and manage the package activities in the municipalities of Kapai, Piagapo, Ditsaan-Ramain, and Ganassi the following specific activities:
  • Organizing and conducting the Early Childhood Education Classes; 
  • Construction of the Community Learning Center; 
  • Conducting Functional Literacy Classes with emphasis on functional skills related to livelihood enterprises; 
  • Development of Learning Materials - an indiginized instructional materials for Early Childhood Education and Functional Literacy Classes;
  • Accreditation and Equivalencey - Out-of-School youths and school drop-outs assistance; 
  • Prepare detailed work plan providing the details on the schedule of activities to be undertaken;
  • Hire, train and pay the compensation of competent istructional managers and literacy facilitators and other staff involved in the implementation of the project;
  • Coordinate closely with the Local Government Units, the Department of Education's regional division, district and school offices during project implementation.
