MALAYSIAN TAX RISK MANAGEMENT

½ DAY WORKSHOP

Taxability of Income and Business Deductions

What is taxable? When are expenses deductible? These are common questions asked by business owners and accounting staff. The onus of reporting the correct tax liability is on the company, therefore, correct interpretation of the Malaysian tax statute is absolutely necessary. Ignorance of the law is no excuse and failure to report the correct tax liabilities will result in heavy penalties.

This workshop focuses on the basics of Malaysian tax principles, the deductibility of expenses and tax planning.
