The Atlanta Police Department appointed Ms. Marshall (Marsha) Stevenson as our new Zone 2 Crime Prevention Inspector.  She is announcing two initiatives:

  • The first Annual Citywide Neighborhood Watch Training will be held on Saturday, March 31st at the Public Safety Headquarters located at 226 Peachtree St, SW Atlanta at 8:45am to 1:30pm. In our recent survey, many residents expressed an interest in forming Neighborhood Watch Programs on your street.  This APD training is the first step in getting started for those in the City of Atlanta side of the neighborhood.  For more information, see the attached flyer.  Contact Inspector K. Hebert by March 26th to register:  kehebert@atlantaga.gov
  • City of Atlanta residents can arrange a free home security assessment (see attached form) by contacting Inspector Stevenson directly at mstevenson@atlanta.gov
The City of Brookhaven has a similar initiative: Residential Security Checks
