Neighborhood Security -- Open Meeting

Please join the Pine Hills Neighborhood Association on Wednesday, December 13th from 7:00-8:00 pm at the Latin American Association for a discussion of neighborhood security. This meeting is open to all neighbors.

PHNA has been working since January on a security plan that addresses crime patterns and vulnerabilities in our neighborhood. The plan has several components including surveillance cameras that would supplement the license plate readers Brookhaven and City of Atlanta maintain, increased off-duty police patrol, neighborhood watch, improved signage, and others.  We have collaborated with police departments in both cities as well as Georgia Power to develop our plan.  Some of the proposed options carry significant costs that we will outline at the meeting.

PHNA would like your thoughts and suggestions before proceeding with this addition to our security program.Your participation is critical to the safety and security of our neighborhood. We will vote on some options.  Members may bring a written proxy for two member households.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
