Neighbors:

The City of Brookhaven is developing a comprehensive plan that will outline Character Areas that will establish the vision, goals and land uses for neighborhoods and is inviting residents to attend community meetings to discuss these areas. This is our chance to express how we want to maintain, preserve and enhance our neighborhood’s character and identity.

Four Kick-off meetings are scheduled for July 14 and 19 in the morning and evenings. The specific times and locations are listed below. The same information will be presented at each meeting.

There will be at least two separate meetings, at which we will recommend strategies to Brookhaven’s Planning Commission and City Council as they relate to the character of our existing single-family residential neighborhood.  The City of Brookhaven has specifically noted "where and what growth will occur" as topics for discussion.
The more residents that participate in the Character Area study, the stronger voice. Please participate!

If you can’t make the kickoff meetings, please sign up at www.BrookhavenCharacterAreaStudy.com so you will be invited to future meetings about Pine Hills.
Members of the Pine Hills Neighborhood Association Zoning Committee will attend the meetings and post a report on our website (www.mypinehills.org) to keep you updated.
